Terms of Service.

The agreement between you and Fuda, in plain language. The short version first; the full version is the binding one.

Last updated: 23 August 2026

The short version

  • Fuda plans your household's week and checks it against the restrictions you record. It never says “safe”, and what it can't verify, it doesn't recommend.
  • You keep the final say, and for anything serious the label stays leading.
  • Nobody pays to be in your answers. We earn from your subscription, not from what we show you.
  • Pay per adult, children free, 30 days free first, stop with one tap. [From M7.]
  • Be honest with the service, don't abuse it, and tell us when we're wrong.
  • We can both end this: you anytime with one tap, we only with good reason and notice.

1.Who you are agreeing with

These terms are between you and the entity named below. “Fuda”, “we”, “us” means that entity. Contact: legal@fuda.app.

Unresolved before publication: Legal entity, registration number, address. Counsel to keep current; update when the corporate structure changes.

2.What Fuda is, and is not

Fuda is a food decision service. It plans what your household could cook, order in, eat out, snack on and drink, and checks every recommendation against the food restrictions you record, using the ingredient, allergen, product and menu information available to us. Every checked item shows one of three results: No conflict identified (with source and date), Conflicts with your restriction (excluded, with the reason), or Unable to verify (and then it is not recommended).

Fuda is not a medical device and provides no medical advice. It does not diagnose, treat or manage any condition. Which foods are right for a condition is between you and your practitioner; Fuda applies what you record. Fuda does not prepare, sell or deliver food; when you buy from a supermarket, restaurant or delivery service, that purchase is between you and them.

3.The honest limits, and your part

Fuda checks against information that manufacturers, retailers and venues publish. That information can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, and no service can know a kitchen's habits or a factory's line. That is why Fuda never says “safe”, shows a source and date on every answer, and refuses to recommend what it cannot verify.

Your part: the label stays leading. For any serious restriction, check the label and ask the venue before eating; use Fuda to know what to check, not as a reason not to. Record restrictions accurately, keep them current, and record another adult's restrictions only with their knowledge. If Fuda shows something you believe is wrong, tell us at hello@fuda.app; we stop relying on the affected result while we investigate, and we tell you what we found.

Unresolved before publication: Counsel adds the formal liability and warranty clause here, drawn to the maximum extent honest and enforceable for Dutch consumers, consistent with the Product Liability Directive 2024/2853. The marketing pages promise candour; the legal page may not quietly promise less.

4.Nothing in your answers is for sale

We do not accept advertising, paid placement or purchasable ranking, and we do not earn referral or affiliate fees on what we recommend. If a shop, restaurant or delivery service ever pays us anything, it will be a flat, published fee charged after you have already decided, identical whoever the provider is, and this section will name it. Our recommendations are computed from your household's restrictions, preferences and situation, and from nothing else.

5.Your account and your household

One account holder per household signs in with an email address. Other adults use Fuda with their knowledge; children are part of the household's answers but never have accounts and never agree to these terms. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure. Delete your account anytime (Settings > Account > Delete account); the privacy policy says what happens to data.

6.Price and payment

Fuda is currently free to use while we finish the app. When that changes, you will hear the date from us in advance, prices will be published first, and every household gets the same 30 days free before paying anything.

7.Fair use

Use Fuda for your own household. Don't scrape, resell or republish our data or answers, probe or overload the service, use it for anyone's household without their knowledge, or misrepresent restrictions to third parties as Fuda's endorsement. We may suspend accounts that do, with notice and a reason.

8.Content and ownership

The Fuda application, design, brand and the way it computes answers are ours. Product, menu and venue information originates with manufacturers, retailers and venues and remains theirs. What you record (restrictions, preferences, pantry, lists) is yours; you give us only the permission needed to run the service for you, as described in the privacy policy.

9.Ending, changes, and problems

  • You can stop anytime: cancel, delete the account, done.
  • We can end or suspend an account only for breach of section 7, legal necessity, or discontinuation of the service, and except in serious-abuse cases we give at least 30 days' notice. If we discontinue the service or a paid feature, unused paid time is refunded pro rata.
  • Changes to these terms: we date every version, and for any change that matters we email account holders at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you don't accept a material change, you can cancel before it applies and receive a pro-rata refund of any prepaid period. Continued use after the notice period counts as acceptance; silence during it does not.
  • Problems: write to legal@fuda.app first; a person reads it. These terms are governed by Dutch law, and disputes belong to the competent Dutch courts. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms limits the consumer protections of your country of residence. The EU online dispute resolution platform is at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
